# Terms of Service

These terms cover embededitor.com and buying an Embed Editor license. Embed Editor is a product of Rohde Softwares.

## The Site

embededitor.com shows what Embed Editor does and lets you try it. The editor on its pages runs the Free and Trial editions, under their [licenses](https://embededitor.com/license).

## Buying a License

Paddle (Paddle.com) is our merchant of record: it sells the licenses as our reseller, takes the payment, charges the sales tax or VAT of your country and issues the receipt. Paddle's [buyer terms](https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to the payment.

Lite, Full Personal, Full, Full Unlimited and Full OEM are sold at checkout, each a yearly subscription in US dollars at the price on the [pricing page](https://embededitor.com/pricing). It renews automatically at the same price until you cancel.

After the payment you get an e-mail with your license and how to install it, and the same in your account at [account.embededitor.com](https://account.embededitor.com). Manage Billing, in your account, opens Paddle's portal, where you change the card, get the receipts and cancel.

Refunds follow the [refund policy](https://embededitor.com/refunds).

## The License

The software is used under the [Embed Editor License](https://embededitor.com/license), for the plan you bought. These terms cover the site and the purchase; the license covers the software.

## Support

Each payment of a paid plan includes 12 months of support, and Full OEM includes priority support. Free has no individual support. Write to [hello@embededitor.com](mailto:hello@embededitor.com).
