embededitor.com sets no cookies. The session cookie in Your account below belongs to account.embededitor.com, the customer portal, not to this site.

Images

The photos and images you open or add in the editor on this site stay in your browser. That includes your own photo in the playground: it is never uploaded, and a shared link opens on the default photo instead.

The free tools keep the photos you add, and the edits you save, in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB), on your device. Nothing of them is uploaded or reaches our servers. They stay until you remove them in the tool or clear this site's data in your browser; if the browser won't keep them (a private window, no space left), they last until you leave the page.

Only when you press Share Link in the playground are images uploaded: the logo and the watermark and signature images you added there, and nothing else. Each must be a PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG of up to 1 MB, checked by its bytes.

They are stored on Cloudflare R2 under a hash of their bytes and served at embededitor.com/u/ followed by that hash, so anyone with the link can open them. They are deleted 90 days after the upload, and sharing the same image again starts its 90 days over. SVGs are served sandboxed, so no script in one can run on this site. Uploads are limited per IP address, to stop abuse; we do not keep the address. The rest of a shared setup lives in the link's address, not on our servers.

Buying

Paddle, our merchant of record, handles the purchase: the checkout asks for your e-mail, your country and your payment details, under Paddle's privacy notice. From Paddle we receive your name, your e-mail and your customer ID, with the name you give as the license holder, to create your license.

Your Account

The customer portal at account.embededitor.com holds your account: your e-mail, your name, your Paddle customer ID and your licenses, with a record of each download from our registry (the key, the package, the version and when).

You sign in with a code sent to your e-mail, and the portal keeps you signed in with a session cookie.

We e-mail you about your license: the purchase, each renewal, sign-in codes and key changes.
